Fiber Arts Friday: Babe in Production

10 Apr

My Babe spinning wheel is in the process of becoming truly mine. I have painted it, and am waiting for the clear coat to dry so I can finish adding rhinestones to the wheel. Yep, you read that correctly. She is going to RAWK.

For now, here’s a preview pic:

The Babe, Jess-ified

I’m painting her to mostly resemble the logo for my Etsy shop:

In other news, I sent off my PhatFiber samples today. Most people will get a lace mini skein of my “Death of Pan” colorway. Four people will receive an undyed lace sample skein; they will get to redeem the accompanying coupon code for a free 50g skein of laceweight yarn (approx. 440 yards) in the colorway of their choice.

Your wheel is BEAUTIFUL! I want to have mine personalized too but…I lack the talent.

I love the PhatFiber concept but I have yet to participate…one day.

    You do RAWK!

I love how you painted your wheel. I’m gonna ask for this wheel for my bday. Thanks for the tips. I can’t wait to get my yarn. I went to Bowling Green KY. Kind of near you!! I’ll have to be patient. 🙂
