The Best Of 2008

9 Jan

Here is this week’s Booking Through Thursday query:

“It’s a week or two later than you’d expect, and it may be almost a trite question, but … what were your favorite books from 2008?”

Here are my answers, in no particular order:

– The Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer
– The Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris
– The Florida Teens Read books, particularly:
a) Thirteen Reasons Why, by Jay Asher
b) Uglies, Pretties, and Specials by Scott Westerfeld
c) The Nature of Jade by Deb Caletti
d) Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr
e) City of Bones by Cassandra Clare

Most of these are YA lit, but I still love them!

I usually read a lot of YA lit, too. Well, good books are good books, no matter what age group they’re aimed at. Haven’t read any of the “Twilight” series yet, but an awful lot of people have them on their “Best of” lists.

Glad to get YA recommendations! I have been reading more YA books.
